Arrowheads!!

One of our favorite things to do out in MS is look for arrowheads.
I found my first complete one ever: It is the cutest little pink thing! I want to have it mounted on a necklace.
This is how it looked in the ground before I pulled it up:

Here's one my Dad found:
Annie came to help us dig. LOL

New year's at the camp

We spent the week after christmas at the camp. It was awesome.
Julian and Hayden playing in the mud. The temperature went from 80 to 40 and back again almost every other day during the holidays.
My Mom surprised the kids with tons of gifts! They had lots to play with all week!

27 little Santa pants! one for every member of the immediate family. Randy was so cute- he said that before he and Carrie got married, he saw our santa pants hanging up and he just REALLY wanted a pair of those pants BAD. My aunt Sharlene (my mom's sister) is so talented with crafts...she made all of those for us.

The Saturday after Christmas, we got together with Josh's family at his sister Valerie's house.
It was a wonderful day!
Here's Josh's little brother Andrew, Josh, and our soon-to-be brother-in-law Anthony.

Group picture on the porch!

The kids were showered with gifts!

Julian and his Papa James:

Aunt Valerie and Emily

Josh carving the turkey that Andrew made. It was so delicious. He cooked it cajun style.

My little sweetie pie Emily
I almost peed my pants when I saw Valerie's dog's hair cut. I never heard of such! LOL

Anthony and Valerie are going to be getting married soon!!! I can't wait! Weddings are my favorite. They are adorable! Valerie is such a sweetheart.

Emily cracks me up

SO Emily loves toy animals- especially the kinds of animals you would find in a zoo.
See her zoo: But sometimes she likes to re-enact realistic "animals in the wild" scenes:
See the tigers circling the horse?????

Yeah, they're eating it there....she can be so morbid. LOL
I told her she should make her animals do a "sweet, happy" pose....and she came up with this::::
she is so cute.
I told her I needed a good shot of her looking "psychotic"...
Yep, she nailed it.

christmas day

Here's some of our Christmas loot, LOL
Take one guess what Emily's favorite toys are:
Yep! Littlest pet shop toys. Santa must have found a sale at Big Lots and racked up.

Julian put together all of his Legos sets in like an hour!!!
Here's Annie saying "Hey, I can do that for you! Chewing on stuff is supposed to be MY job."

The kids got this for me! Isn't it the CUTEST little nativity EVER????

They got this for their Daddy!

I have to tell ya- Josh's mom was so sweet. She picked the kids up a few days before Christmas and took them shopping for gifts for us, from them. Shje also took them to see "Bolt" and they went out to a Chinese buffet! So they had an AWESOME date with their Gramma!

Emily got a Nintendo DS. Woo hoo, she was happy!!!

Julian was very surprised (and happy!!) to get a PSP. That thing is really cool. I want one!

This is what I got for my sweetheart! It is a NICE golf bag cart. Josh walks the course almost every day, and gets quite a work out! A few weeks ago I tried to pick up his golf bag, to carry it inside...and I couldn't believe how heavy that thing was!!! He loves his cart!

This is what Josh got for me...Can you see it? The glare bugs....

I saw this picture at Kirkland's several months ago. My sister Carrie pointed it out to me and I just fell in love with it. I thought it was so adorable and random...The next time Joshua and I were in the area, I brought him in that store to show it to him- just for fun. And I told him how this picture just makes me smile. So I was very happy to receive this gift.

Annie

I have so much to blog about!!!
First things first- Annie got into some rat poison over the holidays and it's a miracle she is still with us. I am so thankful that she is on the mend.
everyone in my family was praying for her. we all love her so much.
i can't even begin to explain how much i love this precious little animal.
Josh had to rush her to the hospital this past saturday night.
she was finally able to come home tuesday.
she had to have plasma transfusions, they had to go in and drain the blood around her lungs...she is on vitamin K and looking better every day.
josh says she's officially the most expensive dog in town. LOL
she's worth it.

Christmas is coming....

The goose is getting fat!
I love making homemade ornaments!

Here's my poinsetta angel and singing girl: Emily's awesomely colorful reindeer:

Styrofoam ball snowman: Popsicle stick tree:

Some of Emily's creations laying out to dry:

Julian made a clown out of a silver ball.

MY kids always amaze me with their creativity. I usually have to buy a book, or go online for ideas. They come up with stuff on their own.

Emily looking through our materials...WE ended up finding all kinds of bric-a-brac around the house. Beads, fabric, ribbon, yarn, etc.

I saw Annie on the couch and almost busted a gut laughing. Our ward Christmas party pictures::::

We went on a Hay"less" ride...and sang carols all the way! Me and Josh got to hold our niece Alice. She is such a precious doll!!! Missionaries! These guys are sweet:

Emily was in the back of the truck in pink- see her????

My parents are so cute! Santa Claus is coming to town! He made an appearance at the party too.

Here's Randy & Carrie: Emily

Julian hammin' it up, LOL
